Barry Posner currently serves as the Michael J. Accolti, S.J., Chair and Professor of Leadership for the Leavey School of Business at Santa Clara University, where he also served as dean for 12 years. After studying political science for his undergraduate degree at the University of California, Santa Barbara, Barry earned a master's degree from The Ohio State University in public administration. He later acquired his Ph.D. in organizational behavior and administrative theory from the University of Massachusetts, Amherst. Throughout his career, Barry has received numerous awards and recognitions, authored over 100 research articles, served on numerous corporate boards, taught at several universities around the world as a guest professor, and consulted for several well-known companies, including Apple, Amazon, and Trader Joe’s.
