OBJECTIVE
The purpose of this field study was to develop an educational model to enhance nursing leadership skills and promote professionalism of nurses at the bedside.

KEY FINDINGS
The Leadership Practices Inventory, according to the researcher, "is a tool for the participant and their nurse manager to utilize to evaluate initial understanding and appreciation of leadership concepts as well as evaluate a change in behavior following the nursing leadership development program" (p.24).
