Barry Posner makes each day matter. In his 10th years as Dean at Santa Clara University's Leavey School of Business, he is still teaching (in fact, he's taking an MBA class to Asia this year) and he is actively involved with curricular innovation, faculty development, and alumni relations. Barry is married to his college sweetheart Jackie, a senior executive with Stanford's Haas Center for Public Service. Their daughter Amanda is completing a dual-master's program in Social Work and Public Policy at the University of Chicago and their dog Dannie is settling into his life of leisure-having dropped-out of being a guide dog! Barry's latest "leadership challenges" have him fund-raising for a new business school building and working with several community-based organizations in Silicon Valley, such as the San Jose Repertory Theatre and EMQ Family and Children Services.
