Exemplary leaders make things happen. They notice when something isn’t working. They step up to help create a solution, get buy-in, and implement the desired outcome. They think outside the box and encourage others to do the same. Are you that type of leader, the one who asks why and encourages others to follow your lead? Do you challenge people to try out new and innovative ways to do their work? Make a commitment to enhance your practice of Challenging the Process by building this online activity into your routine…
Use a blog to identify tasks or procedures that need review or new thinking. Give it a name, such as the New Thinking Journal or the Status Quo Challenge. As you discover new, innovative, or more productive ways of doing things, post the most appropriate findings and encourage others to comment or post their own ideas.
