What We're Reading
Prolific author, New York Times writer, podcaster, TedTalk presenter, and organizational psychologist at Wharton—just of few of the many contributions that Adam Grant makes to how we think about our relationship to work. He has also garnered a significant following on LinkedIn for his comedic cartoons and his snippets of insight into the powerful connection between giving and kindness, and its impact on others. His recent post, for example, suggests that instead of keeping a daily gratitude journal, write a daily gratitude note to someone you appreciate. And he notes that new evidence (contained in a linked article on inc.com) suggests that saying thanks is less awkward than we expect—and brings more joy to others than we expect as well.
